About
About the project
Jimm.online is an independent project that brings back the classic ICQ experience for retro clients and old devices.
What the project offers
The site has public information, guides, the Jimm download, a link to QIP and the settings for connecting compatible clients to icq.jimm.online.
Jimm.online is not affiliated with ICQ, AOL, Mail.ru, VK or the original authors of QIP/Jimm. Product names are used only to describe compatibility with legacy software.
How we check compatibility
We test connection scenarios for Jimm on Java ME/J2ME Loader and QIP 2005 on Windows, and check the server settings, port 5190 and basic login operations.
Client downloads currently lead to posts in the Telegram community, and compatibility is checked separately on old devices and emulators.
Project status
The service is experimental and may change while we check compatibility with Java ME phones, desktop clients and emulators.
News, support and project discussion live in the Telegram community linked in the footer.
