Browser extension
Your contact list and chat one click away on the browser toolbar. Close the window and the extension keeps receiving messages: the icon blinks and plays that famous sound.
The extension runs in a desktop browser. On a phone, install Jimm for Android.
Two themes, Jimm and QIP, switched by the tabs at the top. Sign in with the same UIN and password you use in Jimm on your phone or QIP on your computer.
Install
Open yours — we’ll show how to install the extension and sign in.
Open the extension’s store page
Click “Add to Chrome” and confirm adding the extension.
Pin the icon: click the puzzle icon to the right of the address bar, then the pin next to Jimm.
Click the Jimm icon on the browser toolbar, enter your UIN and password and sign in.
Open the extension’s store page
Click “Add to Firefox” and confirm the permissions.
Pin the icon: click the extensions icon to the right of the address bar, then the gear next to Jimm → “Pin to Toolbar”.
Click the Jimm icon on the browser toolbar, enter your UIN and password and sign in.
