Is there QIP 2005 for Linux and Raspberry Pi?

Yes. Our QIP 2005 is built in Flutter and runs natively on Linux, with no Wine or emulators. There are .deb packages (Ubuntu, Debian, Linux Mint), .rpm packages (Fedora, openSUSE), and a universal AppImage that runs almost anywhere without installation. A separate build covers ARM: Raspberry Pi 4 and 5 and other ARM devices, so you can keep classic ICQ running on a small computer next to your monitor. Inside is the familiar QIP interface: UIN login, contact list, statuses, messages, sounds, and a connection to the icq.jimm.online server. To get started, open https://jimm.online/qip, pick Linux, download the right package, and follow the install guide. If you do not have a UIN yet, register on https://jimm.online.

Which package to choose

Take the .deb for Ubuntu, Debian, and Linux Mint, and the .rpm for Fedora and other RPM-based distributions. If you are not sure, download the AppImage: a single file that runs on almost any distribution without installation. Raspberry Pi 4/5 and other ARM devices have a separate ARM build.

How to launch it and sign in

Open https://jimm.online/qip, pick Linux, download the package, and follow the guide on the page. After launch, sign in with your UIN and password; the client connects to the icq.jimm.online server. If you do not have a UIN yet, register on https://jimm.online.
