What are Jimm Channels — channels in ICQ?

Jimm Channels are news channels inside ICQ, similar to Telegram channels. Any user can create a channel and publish posts, and subscribers receive them as ordinary messages in Jimm, QIP, the web client, or classic ICQ. To get started, add the channels bot with UIN 11114 to your contact list and send it !help. The main commands are: !channels for the catalog, !find to search, !join and !leave to subscribe and unsubscribe, !mute and !unmute to turn notifications off and on, !my for your channels and the number of new posts, and !read to scroll through posts. Create a channel with !create name Title and publish with !publish. The owner can appoint admins and change the name and description. You can also read channels on https://jimm.online, in the Channels block and the My channels section, and channel news shows up in your feed.

How to subscribe to a channel

Add the bot with UIN 11114 and send !channels to see the catalog, or !find to search by keyword. Subscribe with !join, unsubscribe with !leave, and turn notifications off with !mute. New posts arrive as ordinary ICQ messages, and !my shows your channels and the number of new posts.

How to create your own channel

Send the bot !create name Title, for example !create my_news My news, and publish posts with !publish. The owner appoints admins and changes the name and description; see !help admin. Channels can also be read on https://jimm.online without signing up.
